Basic introduction
From January 1, 2011, Energy Star will enforce a third-party verification system. Products must be audited by a third-party laboratory and certification body recognized by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) before they can be authorized to affix the Energy Star logo.
North Test is an optical laboratory approved by NVLAP and authorized by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It is the first non-US domestic laboratory to obtain Energy Star certification for LED lighting in the world.
