Basic introduction
French food-grade safety regulations are referred to as DGCCRF in France. Such products sold to France must comply with the requirements of the European Union's EC 1935/2004 regulations and must also meet the local French regulatory requirements, including DGCCRF2004-64 and Décretno92-631. French regulations not only have special requirements for plastic and rubber products in contact with food, but also special classification and requirements for metal products.
